What is an Esoteric Glossary For?
The vocabulary of esotericism is dense: major arcana, synastry, ascendant, hexagram, oddun, futhark, tetragrammaton. Without context, these words can become barriers between you and the practice. This glossary breaks them down — each entry explains origin, technical meaning, and how the term shows up in the tools we offer.
It is not a Wikipedia copy: each definition is written specifically for someone consulting the tarot, casting runes, exploring numerology or trying to understand a horoscope. The links connect every term to the apps and readings where it applies. The goal: if you ever stumble on an unfamiliar word in any reading, you have a clean place to learn what it means and keep going.
How the Glossary Is Organised
The glossary is organised alphabetically (A to Z) and tagged by category (tarot, astrology, mancias, mythology, etc.). The category badge on each entry helps you scan quickly. The total of 320 entries is being released in four phases; we publish the most essential terms first and add the more specialised ones over time. Entries with a slightly faded card are not yet published.
